1924 D Standing Liberty Quarter CHOICE BU. The Standing Liberty Quarter was issued from 1916 to 1930 by the United States Mint. The Standing Liberty Quarter was designed by Hermon Atkins MacNeil, who won a competition to redesign the coin. 1923 S Standing Liberty Quarter (SLQ) Choice AU. A very high end example of they key date 1923-S Standing Liberty Quarter (SLQ) in Choice AU Condition. This outstanding specimen shows great luster and very little wear. The reverse is more subdued (it looks like there is some light toning, deposition, or dirt? on the reverse but I didn't want to try to remove it as I am no expert on the subject and thought it actually has a nice look to it as it is). Towards the periphery and near the head of the eagle on the reverse you can again see that strong luster shining through!
